2. Booking and Reservations

2.1. Bookings: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings for any reason, including pricing errors.

2.2. Payment: Payment must be made as per the payment terms provided during the booking process.

2.3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation policies vary by supplier and are outlined in each booking. It is your responsibility to review and understand these policies before making a booking.

3. Travel Documentation

3.1. Passports and Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the required valid passports, visas, and travel documents for your trip.

3.2. Health Requirements: It is your responsibility to check and comply with health requirements and vaccinations for your destination.

4. Liability and Disclaimers

4.1. Travel Suppliers: We act as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of these suppliers.

4.2. Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

5. Privacy and Data

5.1. Data Collection: We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5.2. Communication: By using our services, you agree to receive communications from us, including emails and newsletters.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Copyright: All content on our website is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use, modify, or distribute our content without our written permission.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website and services at our discretion, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Colombia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombia.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.

Reservation, Refunds, Cancellation, Accommodation Policies

A – Reservation Confirmation:
To confirm the reservation of the tourist service, a payment of 50% of the total value of the excursion, plan, or tour will be required in advance, and the remaining amount must be paid at the beginning of the tour.

Refund Policy:
Please note our refund amounts for cancellations made within the following timeframes:

  1. If the customer requests the cancellation of the tourist package with 45 days or more in advance, we offer a refund of 90% of the 50% of the total tour amount.
  2. If the customer requests the cancellation of the tourist package from 44 days to 20 days before the date of the reserved tour, we offer a refund of 20% of the 50% of the total tour amount.
  3. If the customer requests the cancellation of the tourist package 19 days or less in advance, no refund will be provided.

B – Cancellations Caused by Force Majeure:
We will consider force majeure reasons for cancellations, including airport closures due to attempted terrorism or prevention and control of epidemics and/or pandemics, including airport closures due to COVID-19. Extraordinary health situations, such as severe illnesses that make it impossible to carry out the reserved service or the death of members of the reservation, will also be considered.

For these cases, proof documents may be required to support the cancellation. We will make every effort to generate a refund of the total amount paid, but we do not guarantee a full or partial refund due to costs incurred in the reservation and with suppliers. The refund time may vary depending on the case and cancellation date.

We will not provide refunds for reasons beyond those stated, such as cancellations or issues related to VISAs, lack of vaccines, expiration of travel insurance, flight cancellations unrelated to the above reasons, flight changes, or without refunds.

We will not refund the deposit for cancellations after payment of 50% and the respective reservation, except in cases of force majeure related to incidents involving the airline, where evidence must be provided to evaluate a possible refund percentage.

C – Group Bookings:
If the tour was booked for a group of people, the cost corresponds to that specific number of people and may increase or decrease accordingly. Ensure certainty about the number of people taking the service, as a different number may result in a reservation reconsideration with a new price based on the new number of people.

D – Cancellations Due to Flight Schedule Changes:
In cases where the customer must make cancellations during the development of the tourist package due to changes in flight schedules, we will consider the possibility of refunding up to 50% of the total value of

the costs and services reserved for the affected day due to the change.

E – Absent Customer Policy:
In the event that the customer does not show up or arrive at the agreed meeting point and time, and it is not possible to establish contact or receive a response from the customer through any of the available means (WhatsApp, email, mobile phone, or landline), we will wait for a maximum of 40 minutes. After that period, the tour will be canceled without the option of a refund of any amount paid.

F – Accommodation:
If accommodation is included in the reservation, it will be in country houses. A “country house” in this context is a practical rural dwelling designed for agricultural or farming work. It provides clean and functional accommodations with basic services essential for the needs of voluntourists. These houses typically include bedrooms for resting, a bathroom, sometimes shared, a kitchen (if included), and often storage areas for farming tools and equipment. While they may lack luxurious features, they are well-maintained and serve as a comfortable and functional base for voluntourism activities in rural areas.
